The centerpiece of the system is the Magicard Enduro+ Duo dual-sided ID card printer, a compact and versatile printer that produces full-color cards suitable for a wide range of applications, from student and employee IDs to membership and gift cards. This system also includes a printer ribbon, blank cards, ID card software, a digital camera, and other supplies.
The Magicard Enduro+ Duo is able to print both the front and back of your ID cards in a single pass. This speeds up the printing process by eliminating the need for manual flipping when producing dual-sided cards. It also provides more design area and allows you to include variable information on both card sides. Add Ethernet connectivity at any time with a simple in-field upgrade kit. This kit allows your printer to work easily in a networked environment.
Another attribute of the Magicard Enduro+ Duo is its ability to apply a secure HoloKote watermark across the surface of each printed card. HoloKote is included with the system at no additional cost and help to prevent tampering and illegal duplication. Four fixed watermark patterns (waves, keys, globes, and rings) are selectable from the printer driver. When used with Magicard HoloPatch cards, one section of the HoloKote watermark can also be highlighted as a high visibility security seal.
This system also includes AlphaCard Light, a user-friendly software platform that makes it easy to design cards, import photos, and manage cardholder records in a standalone database.
The Enduro+ is a single-sided printer which can be
easily field upgraded to double-sided by means of a simple drop-in upgrade. The Enduro+ Duo is
pre-configured as a double-sided printer.
Card Security
The user has the option to print a HoloKote®
security watermark across the card surface. When used with HoloPatch® cards, one area of the
HoloKote watermark is highlighted as a high visibility security seal. A choice of 4 fixed HoloKote
patterns are selectable from the printer driver.
