The Quantum comes standard with a flip over module for dual-sided printing. It also features two feeders and output hoppers which operate independently from each other allowing multiple types of cards to be printing and encoded within the same 1000-card batch.

Though it’s designed for high-volume output, the Quantum is a relatively simple printer to operate. It utilizes ergonomic opening concepts which provide quick and easy access to printer functions. Card loading and unloading, ribbon installation, and cleaning procedures are all simple to perform. The printer’s restacking system automatically sorts cards in the order they are printed for further convenience.

When printing such high-volume projects, reliability is key. The Evolis Quantum features a print head and cooling system designed to withstand the heavy workload. During encoding operations, the Quantum is programmed to automatically eject defective cards into a reject box. The recovery system automatically restarts pending jobs so they aren’t lost if an error occurs. And dual-roller cleaning system extends the life of the print head while ensuring the highest level of quality.
