The dual-sided DTC550 makes it easy to print high quality color ID cards from anywhere in an office - no matter if it's by the card printer or not. Much like a networked laser or inkjet printer, the card printer can be accessed by anyone on a shared network - and those workstations with the proper ID card stations can design and print remotely to their heart's desire. This type of efficiency is great for businesses with departments that need distinct ID badges. No need to worry about network security, etiher - the DTC550 also comes with a feature called Print Security that protects the network as well as printer.
The DTC550 doesn't just make networked card printing easy - it makes it fast and low maintenance as well. With a print time of as little as 7 seconds per card, the DTC550 prints high quality, 300 dpi ID cards in the blink of an eye. Maintenance is easy too - just snap the ribbon and cleaning cartridges in and out. No more fussing with broken ribbons, or tediously winding cartridge spools!
