Speedy Dual-Sided Printing

For high-volume card printing applications, saving time is critical. The Fargo HDP5000 duplex printer is capable of producing 51 full-color, dual-sided ID cards per hour. Single-sided printers require the user to reload the cards after printing each side, but the HDP5000 duplex brings an end to wasted time by printing on both sides in one quick and easy pass.

High Definition Printing

Not only do high definition printers produce the most crisp and vivid images and text, they also make it easier to print on cards with uneven surfaces, such as those with embedded electronics. The Fargo HDP5000 first prints images onto a special film which is then fused to the card’s surface. There’s no direct contact betweens the cards and the print head, so the risk of damage is reduced and the results are always extremely detailed and vibrant, even on cards with smart chips and embedded antennas.

User Friendly

Unique features such as cartridge-based ribbons and cleaning rollers make using and maintaining the HDP5000 a snap. The SmartScreen LCD panel even guides the user through the printing process with real-time status messages.
