As an anti-forgery measure, every Alto M can print a holographic watermark in a wave pattern across the face of each card. If you want to use your own watermark design, you may upgrade by purchasing an Alto Custom Key Card, which allows you to print a custom watermark featuring text you provide (2 lines of 6 characters) and only prints when the Key is present. When used with Magicard HoloPatch cards, one section of the HoloKote watermark can also be highlighted as a high visibility security seal. And because this printer comes with a three-year warranty in North America, the EU and other selected countries, peace of mind is a standard feature of every Magicard Alto.
