Along with high-volume batch printing capabilities, the Prima 3 High Output printer allows users to print unique information on both card sides in a single run. Dual-sided printing saves valuable time and resources, especially for large ID programs.
A unique reverse-transfer printing process enables the Prima 3 High Output to produce exceptionally crisp and vivid ID cards. Images and text are first printed on a special re-transfer film which is then fused to the surface of the card. This process also extends card life and helps to prevent tampering. And it's the ideal method for printing on technology cards with uneven surfaces.
The printer comes standard with USB 2.0 and Ethernet connectivity, allowing users to operate the printer remotely in a networked environment. Convenient features such as a Graphical Driver, slide-in ribbon and film cartridges, and auto dye detection make the printer extremely easy to use. For those with sophisticated card-printing needs, the Prima 3 Duo Plus offers options for magnetic stripe, smart card, and contactless card encoding, as well as an inline lamination module.
