HoloKote, Magicard’s patented holographic overlay technology, is the key to our Secure HoloKote system. With HoloKote, you can apply a secure holographic overlay across the surface of each printer card at no extra cost. The Rio Pro includes a Custom HoloKote Key so the HoloKote watermark is customized with your own logo and text. The Rio Pro printer also supports HoloKote Flex, which lets you imprint your custom watermark anywhere across the card face at any size. Along with HoloKote, the Rio Pro can take advantage of Magicard’s other innovative security feature, HoloPatch cards. With a distinctive gold patch on every card, HoloPatch cards are unique, difficult to copy, and provide a highly visible security seal for visual identification. When paired with HoloKote overlay, HoloPatch cards can create an “uncrackable” ID card suitable for high security environments.
The Rio Pro’s versatility and ease of use only makes the Secure HoloKote system more appealing. The Rio Pro can print a single-sided color card with over-the-edge printing in just 23 seconds. A built-in Ethernet port makes for easy networked printing (perfect for schools and large offices), and features input and output hoppers for batch printing. Want to add more security to your printed cards? The Rio Pro can be further customized with magnetic stripe, smart card, and contactless smart card encoding capabilities – enough to allow you to create multipurpose cards suitable for access control, payment, and more!
