The centerpiece of the system is the Fargo DTC1000 ID card printer. This compact and reliable printer produces durable photo ID cards with clear text and vivid colors and graphics. The DTC1000 can print on ID cards ranging from 9 to 40 mil in thickness and is even equipped to print on rewritable cards. The Fargo DTC1000 is extremely user-friendly and features fast-loading ribbon cartridges with integrated cleaning rollers that eliminate hassle when changing out supplies. Innovative in-field upgrades including dual-sided printing and magnetic stripe encoding, make it easy to add functionality to the printer at any time should the needs of your construction ID card program grow and change down the road.
The printer comes bundled with AlphaCard Light ID card software, an intuitive software platform that simplifies the process of designing, printing, and managing your ID cards and cardholder information. A photo ID camera, printer ribbon, cleaning kit and blank PVC cards are also included with the Standard Construction ID System.
