The Starter Police ID System gives police department the ability to quickly produce ID cards in-house. The System includes the Magicard Pronto ID card printer, Magicard's patented HoloKote watermark system that works to prevent illegal duplication, printing supplies, a digital webcam, ID card software, and a year of technical support.

The Magicard Pronto is a compact, lightweight ID card printer that can fit neatly into any office environment. It uses a hand-fed process to print each ID card individually, making it ideal for smaller runs of photo IDs. The Pronto prints in full color on durable PVC cards, is easily portable, and takes just seconds to print high-quality cards. An important factor in police IDs is card security. With the Magicard Pronto, police departments can include a secure Holokote anti-forgery watermark across the surface of each card. The watermark provides visual authentication and works to prevent illegal duplication. Four fixed HoloKote patterns (waves, rings, keys, and globes) are selectable from the printer driver. When used with Magicard HoloPatch cards, one section of the HoloKote watermark can also be highlighted as a high visibility security seal.
