Alpha Card's Starter Police ID System is the ideal solution for printing high-quality police ID cards in low-volume environments. The Starter Police ID System gives police department the ability to quickly produce ID cards in-house. The System includes the Magicard Alto ID card printer, a Holokote Key that works to prevent illegal duplication, printing supplies, a digital webcam, Build-A-Badge ID card software, and a year of technical support.

The Magicard Alto is a compact, lightweight ID card printer that can fit neatly into any office environment. It uses a hand-fed process to print each ID card individually, making it ideal for smaller runs of photo IDs. The Alto prints in full color on durable PVC cards, is easily portable, and takes just seconds to print high-quality cards. An important factor in police IDs is card security. With the Magicard Alto, police departments can include a secure Holokote anti-forgery watermark across the surface of each card. The watermark provides visual authentication and works to prevent illegal duplication. With the Alto printer, the watermark comes as part of a HoloKote Custom Key. This is a secure memory card that stores a custom text design (2 lines of 6 characters) which you provide. The two lines are printed as a holographic watermark across your card. When used with Magicard HoloPatch cards, one section of the HoloKote watermark can also be highlighted as a high visibility security seal.
