The system includes the Ultra Magicard Rio Pro Duo, a robust printer that can produce full-color cards featuring a custom HoloKote watermark for added visual security. You'll also receive user-friendly AlphaCard Light photo ID software, all the necessary printing supplies, and a digital webcam for taking ID photos.
The Magicard Rio Pro Duo is a high-performance ID card printer that prints both the front and the back of your cards in a single pass. This allows you to include unique information on both card sides, and it speeds up the printing process, as no manual flipping is required. For enhanced card security, the Rio Pro Duo includes a Custom HoloKote Key, which stores a secure watermark featuring your own logo and text. The watermark is applied across the surface of each printed card at no additional cost, and helps to prevent illegal duplication. The printer also supports HoloKote Flex, which lets you imprint that custom watermark anywhere across the card surface at any size. When used with Magicard HoloPatch cards, one section of the HoloKote watermark can also be highlighted as a high visibility security seal. And the Custom HoloKote Key can even be used as a locking mechanism that physically prevents unauthorized users from operating the printer.
For those operating in networked environments, the Magicard Rio Pro Duo features a built-in Ethernet port. This allows multiple users to access the printer from different locations. You can add the printer to your network just like you would any other network device.
The Ultra Secure Duplex ID System comes bundled with AlphaCard Light, an intuitive software platform that simplifies the process of designing professional ID cards and managing cardholder records. The software can hold up to 200 records in a standalone database. If your ID program grows to require additional records and database connectivity, upgrading AlphaCard software editions is a quick and easy process, and your existing records will be retained.
